The Smooth: It's very interesting what is happening I think is a great experience for a new group that is proposing to market their music internationally. We are pleased to have got here, knowing that our work is being recognized so positively by many people. Although we recorded this album with few resources and effort, I think we got a very good sound and good interpretation. Therefore I tell you what you are assessing listening to the music of Soft Tumbao is our own heart. Cubamusic.com We have to thank for opening the doors and take out the music of the orchestra around the world. Thank you with all my heart.
Revi: What inspired you to join the orchestra?
The Soft: Soft Tumbao began his career on April 7, 2009. I come from Candido Fabre Orchestra where he remained for 13 years as pianist and arranger, this was one of my sources of inspiration, in addition to my admiration for the music of Los Van Van who have heard so much, even once shared the stage with them in Havana and played the piano with Robert "Cucurucho."
Revi: So you're not a musician
The empirical ... Smooth: No, I studied music at the Estevan School Boards of Santiago de Cuba.
Revi: And in 2009 you released your own project, as it was ..
The Suave: Upon returning from a European tour with Candido Fabre decided to leave and take their own path in music. I began to make arrangements, dreaming of making my own. I had no musicians. A friend named Luis contacted several of them and gave them my repertoire and my arrangements, when I heard them live really inspired me to follow my own course. The first public performance of Soft Tumbao, without being professional yet was in the Carnival of Bayamo in 2006, even in the presence of a padlock.
Revi: And what was the opinion of the Master Fabre?
The Gentle: That the orchestra sounded great.
Revi: How do you define your music, within which line or gender? Or do you go for the merger?
The Gentle: We make various kinds, mainly Songo, remember that I come from a completely charanguera root. But we also timba-reggaeton fusion, ballads, boleros ...
Revi: Where can we appreciate the music of Soft Tumbao?
The Gentle: We are currently in festivals and carnivals in Bayamo, our city then we are planning to introduce for the first time in Havana and if we remain as strong accompanying public favor Cuban world may soon we prove in the international arena.

Revi: We wish all good luck in the world to go with your young orchestra, sure that will set standards Suave Tumbao Cuban dance music in the XXI century. Success! By: Revi.
